Catch percussionist Colin Currie perform in the jungle on CBeebies’ ZingZillas on Monday 21 November!

 

Percussionist Colin Currie appears on BBC CBeebies' ZingZillas_PR by Albion Media

On Monday 21 November, leading percussionist Colin Currie will share his talent and passion for music with children as he performs in the jungle on BBC CBeebies’ flagship music show, ZingZillas. Colin will kick off the new series with his ‘Big Zing’ performance of ‘Thunder and Lightning’ on timpani. You can catch the episode on CBeebies channel and online at 8am and again at 3.50pm this coming Monday.

Colin Currie is internationally renowned for his virtuosity and musical ingegrity. A foremost contributor to contemporary music and soloist of choice for composers from Steve Reich to Rautavaara, Colin Currie has been the driving force behind new percussion repertoire for more than a decade. His talent is recognised worldwide and he performs as soloist and chamber artist with the world’s leading orchestras from the Los Angeles Philharmonic to the London Philharmonic orchestras. Colin Currie is also Artist-in-Residence at the Southbank Centre.
