The English Concert is among the finest chamber orchestras in the world, with a global reputation for outstanding interpretations of Baroque and Classical music in the concert hall and on CD. In 2007 Harry Bicket became its third Artistic Director, taking them on their first visit to the United Arab Emirates, tours to Germany, Austria, Spain and France, and a six-city tour the USA with counter-tenor David Daniels. Bicket made his BBC Proms debut with The English Concert when he directed Handel's Samson.

Albion Media was employed by The English Concert to raise their profile in the national media, which it achieved by securing a number of feature articles on both The English Concert and Harry Bicket as well as a constant stream of reviews in the national press.
