Massimo Giordano

The Italian tenor Massimo Giordano is a regular guest of the world’s leading opera houses and has sung in several opera festivals including the Salzburger Festspiele and Glyndebourne Opera Festival. He has also worked with major conductors and orchestras.

Highlights of Massimo Giordano’s career include singing in the worldwide Metropolitan Opera radio broadcast of Massenet’s Manon with Renée Fleming in 2006 as well as singing Rinuccio in the international telecast of the Met's Gianni Schicchi as part of Puccini’s Il Trittico in April of 2007 under the baton of James Levine. He also sang in premiere performances of L’Elisir d’amore with Angela Gheorghiu at the Metropolitan Opera in March-April 2009 and toured extensively with Anna Netrebko, performing joint concerts in France, Russia and Scandinavia.

Massimo Giordano began 2011 in Vienna, returning to the role of Romeo in Gounod’s Romeo Et Juliette (January/February), followed by performances of Cavaradossi in Tosca in Paris (April/May) and Berlin (June).

Albion Media has promoted Giordano’s appearance in Don Carlo in Berlin in the German press and continues the collaboration with his appearances at Zürcher Festspiele (Don José in Carmen) and at Münchner Opernfestspiele (Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca) as well as his upcoming CD release.
