Albion Media is working on pan-European PR for the International Tchaikovsky Competition 2011 and the ensuing European tour of the winners with Maestro Valery Gergiev.

Under the chairmanship of Gergiev, the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011 has introduced a new set of rules and regulations with revised procedures for voting.

Honorary Chairmen in 2011 are Van Cliburn for the Piano Competition and Placido Domingo for the Vocal Competition. Among the jury members joining them are: Vladimir Ashkenazy, Yefim Bronfman, Nelson Freire, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Leonidas Kavakos, Maxim Vengerov, Nikolaj Znaider, Teresa Berganza, Ileana Cotrubas, Elena Obraztsova, Renata Scotto and Ferruccio Furlanetto.

The International Tchaikovsky Competition 2011 will take place in Moscow and St Petersburg, June 14 - July 2.
