“John Eliot Gardiner is ... one of the supreme choral conductors.” International Record Review
John Eliot Gardiner is one of the most respected and versatile conductors of our time. Acknowledged as a key figure in the early music revival, he is the founder and artistic director of the Monteverdi Choir, the English Baroque Soloists and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique who regularly tour the world over. In 2006 Gardiner became the first international performer to launch their own record label, Soli Deo Gloria (SDG), which has become arguably the most prestigious and successful of its kind in the world.
Albion Media planned and executed the PR campaign around the label’s launch and has continued to work on John Eliot’s and SDG’s PR since this time. Albion Media secured the whole of the Guardian’s page three to announce the label and has kept both the artist and the label’s profiles consistently at a high level in the media since then, ensuring that both reach beyond the normal confines of the classical press by obtaining interviews in publications such as The Observer Food Monthly and Country Life.
In 2008 Albion Media additionally took on the marketing for the SDG label, coordinating its international sales and marketing.
