
Born in Tokyo, Miki Aoki made her orchestral debut at the Royal Festival Hall in London performing Mozart piano concerto K.467 with the National Symphony Orchestra at the age of 12. She is also the recipient of numerous prizes and awards.
Miki Aoki performs in venues such as St. Martin-in-the Fields, St. John’s Smith Square, the Purcell Room at the Southbank Centre (London), Laeiszhalle Hamburg, Mozart-Saal, Barlach Haus, Bechstein Haus, Musicasa Tokyo, Wiener-Saal Salzburg, as well as the following festivals: Mecklenburg-Vorpommen, Salzburger Festspiele, Rheingau, Beaulieu-sur-la Mer (France) and Otzburger Sommerkonzerte. In 2006 Miki was invited by Itzhak Perlman to his chamber music workshop in Long Island, USA.
Miki has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony Orchestra, London Soloist Chamber Orchestra, Hamburg Camerata and Washington Sinfonietta. Her solo and chamber music performances have been broadcast on NDR-North German Radio, Radio Suisse Romande and Hessischer Rundfunk. Steadily building a reputation for her collaborative work, Miki receives regular invitations to master classes and competitions.
Albion Media Hamburg was employed to promote her new CD featuring works by Zoltán Kodály and released on Hänssler Profil Medien in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Italy, France and UK.
