The London Song Festival was founded in 2007 by the pianist Nigel Foster. It is dedicated to promoting the Song repertoire which Foster feels is often under-valued in the classical music world.
In 2011, the festival featured performances by mezzo-soprano Louise Winter, sopranos Anna Leese and Laura Casey, counter-tenor Iestyn Morris and baritones Marcus Farnsworth, Roderick Williams, Benedict Nelson and David Stout. All concerts took place in the church of St George, Hanover Square.
Albion Media managed PR and marketing for the 2011 festival.
