Kirill Karabits

Kirill Karabits is one of the most exciting conductors of the younger generation. He became Principal Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra in 2009 and the much-praised partnership has recently been extended through to the end of the 2015/16 season.

Equally established as an opera conductor, in the 2011/12 season Karabits will appear at Den Norske Opera, the Bolshoi Theatre and will return to Glyndebourne Festival Opera having previously made his debut at the festival in 2008 conducting Eugene Onegin. In Autumn 2010 Karabits made his debut for English National Opera with Rufus Norris’ production of Don Giovanni.
