About us

Originally trained as a flautist in Paris, Christine Villinger received her PhD in Musicology from the University of Mainz after completing her thesis about Giovanni Paisiello’s operas. Christine worked for the Bavarian Radio and several newspapers in Germany before she became Head of Press and Marketing at the Theater Chemnitz and the Staatsoper Hannover, as well as artistic consultant for the Cantiere d’Arte Montepulciano and the Oper Leipzig. Fluent in German, English and French, Christine brings her experience to Albion Media in her role as European Press Manager.
